Best Place to Buy Coins?

Best Place to Buy Ultimate Team Coins?

Here I will be discussing the best places to buy Ultimate Team coins.

I wanna start off by saying, if you actually want to get coins as cheap as possible, stay away from “official” coin selling sites. The prices on 9/10 of these sites are insane!

Also, eBay prices are usually quite high too – But if you want peace of mind and security, I’d suggest buying coins through eBay, they’ll cost you more, but you’re safer as a buyer.

To be honest, I personally think the best place to buy coins is on forums. I would strongly recommend 2 forums to buy coins on, these being:

www.sythe.org – You can begin selling instantly on Sythe.

www.simplyfifa.com – You will need 100 forum posts to be able to enter the selling section.

Let me say one thing.. When trading on forums, be extremely careful and cautious. There are a lot of people out there online who are more than happy to take your money and leave you helpless, but don’t worry, there are steps you can take to avoid being scammed.

  1. Ask the person you’re trading with to send you a private message on the particular forum, to prove that you’re talking to that actual person. I have been scammed twice by people pretending to be well known users on Sythe. A simple private message with the person saying their Skype/MSN address will do.
  2. Ask if they have any vouches – On Sythe, people create “vouch threads”, this is simply where people leave feedback on trades they’ve done with that person, so checking out someone’s vouches can help. People don’t tend to make vouch threads on simplyfifa.com, vouches are usually in the same thread that the deal was done in, which can be annoying.
  3. Unless they have a lot of vouches and are VERY trusted, then ask to do the deal in small chunks, for example if you’re buying 200K, ask to do 20K at a time. So you would send £2 (for example) and then they would send 20k, and continue to do this until the deal was done. I know it’s a bit time consuming, but if the seller is real then they won’t mind doing this if they will be getting sales and a vouch. That is usually a big giveaway, if someone refuses to do small chunks when doing a deal, they’re most likely a scammer. Think about it, if they are about to make £20, they wouldn’t mind spending an extra 20 minutes with you to make the deal a smooth one.
  4. If all goes well, you will have your coins, and a positive vouch as a buyer 🙂

I know it’s difficult going first to a complete stranger, which is why I strongly recommend doing every deal in small chunks. There are a lot of hackers and scammer’s out there that pretend to be people they aren’t.

This is a perfect example actually – When I sold coins on Sythe, a guy added me who wanted to buy, the deal went smooth, he was also a coin seller so we sometimes bought from each other and trusted each other.

About 12 months later, I posted a thread on Simply Fifa because I wanted to sell my coins. The guy popped up on Skype asking if I was selling coins again, so I said yeah and he asked to buy from me. I trusted him and he wanted me to go first because he’s very trusted on simplyfifa.com, but luckily for me, at the same time, I was going through the forums and came across a post from this guy. In his signature it said “Do not trade with me on Skype, I’ve been hacked” so I went ahead and messaged the guy on simplyfifa.com asking him if he was talking to me on Skype. He said he wasn’t and that he had been hacked and the hacker was using this guys Skype to scam a lot of people – phew, that was close!

The internet can be a very cruel place, so do everything you can to remain safe 🙂

Stay safe! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! Cheers 🙂
